UK-based artist Poet Initiative releases his latest single ‘LDN’, taking a look back at his life living in London.
Going back through time, he talks about his ages through the years, describing all aspects of his life. Bringing not only nostalgia, but also smooth and chilled vibe to the track, Poet Initiative combines a number of different flows to create the perfect blend to keep you interested. Self-produced under his production moniker ‘It’s Poet’, his new production tag has gained a lot of praise amongst his supporters.
Being born in the UK with Punjabi roots, interests in Asia and having lived in America allows Poet to really compare and contrast his upbringing, and how it may differ from those around him. Having gone to a number of different schools throughout education, he was able to mix with many people of all backgrounds, helping shape his experiences in to what he details in ‘LDN’.
Having previously been blogged on I Am Hip Hop Magazine, Rap On Demand, Naver and other outlets, whilst also being played on a number of London-based radio stations, he looks to further increasing his span and maximise his fanbase. ‘LDN’ is the next step, a relatable choice for anyone who has grown up or lived in London
He states ‘LDN is all about me and my upbringing. It describes what I’ve gone through and shows a personal side to living in London. Essentially, I’m showing you my version of London!’
